New Year's message for 2026

To us in the past: New Year's message for 2026
As the calendar quietly flips to the last page of the year, the wind outside the window seems to carry the anticipation of the new year. The story of 2025 is about to be sealed into the memory album, while the scroll of 2026 is slowly unfolding, waiting for us to write with new footprints. At this moment, I want to send my warmest wishes to every friend who has traveled alongside me through time - may your new year be as bright as starlight, as smooth as spring breeze, with all your wishes fulfilled and everything going well.
This year, perhaps you have gritted your teeth and persevered for a goal in the middle of the night, perhaps you have hesitated at a crossroads, or perhaps you have received an unexpected surprise at some point. Regardless of whether the past was stormy or sunny, please believe: what doesn't defeat you will ultimately make you stronger. In 2026, may you carry the accumulation of the past, feel less anxious, and have more certainty. When faced with difficulties, remember to give yourself a little more time - just like a river will bypass the rocks and rush to the sea, your steps will eventually reach the shore of your heart's desire.
Life doesn't always have to be grand and dramatic; the subtle beauty in ordinary days is even more worth cherishing. It could be the warmth of a cup of hot Congee in the morning, a lighted lamp when returning home in the evening, a message from a friend saying "I understand you", or learning a new dish or finishing a book you've been wanting to read for a long time. In 2026, may you have eyes that discover beauty and turn your days into poetry: in spring, there are blossoms to admire; in summer, there are cool winds to rest in; in autumn, there are bright moons to invite; in winter, there are warm suns to rely on. May your small world be filled with unexpected tenderness every day.
In life, encountering love and affection is not uncommon; what is rare is encountering "understanding". I am grateful for the companionship of friends along the way: applauding you when you are triumphant, giving you a hug when you are down, and chatting with you until dawn when you are lost. In 2026, may our friendship be like aged wine, getting stronger with each sip. Even if we are thousands of miles apart, a simple "How have you been recently?" can instantly bring us closer; even if we are busy with our own affairs, thinking of each other still warms our hearts. May we all become each other's "charging stations", supporting and illuminating each other through the long years.
In the new year, why not give yourself more "possibilities": learn a new skill, visit a city you've always wanted to go to, take on a challenge you once dared not think of, or just change a small bad habit. Don't be afraid of making mistakes, and don't be afraid of starting too late - the meaning of life is to enrich oneself through continuous exploration. In 2026, may you dare to love and hate, dare to venture and strive, and even more, dare to be your authentic self. May you have both the steadfastness of "pulling the cart with your head down" and the clarity of "looking up the road", and live a shining life at your own pace.
"May you be at peace and joyful, and may everything go your way"
These eight words are simple, yet they embody the most sincere aspirations: "Peace" is the most basic hue of life; "Joy" is the most melodious tune of daily life; and "May everything go your way" - a greedier blessing than "May everything go smoothly": may everything you desire be granted, and may everything you obtain be even better than you imagined.
In 2026, may we all walk slowly through time, carrying love and courage, and embrace the beauty that comes our way.
