The Medium Efficiency Filter is the second-stage filter unit of the Fume Extractor, located between the primary filter cotton (coarse filter) and the high efficiency filter (HEPA / Activated carbon), and mainly intercepts medium-sized pollutants (1~5μm), such as fine metal dust, paint mist particles, small smoke particles, etc. Its core functions are:
Protect high-efficiency filter element: reduce the blockage of HEPA or activated carbon by fine particles and extend the life of the core filter element;
Gradual filtration: together with primary and high efficiency filtration, a three-level filtration system of “coarse-medium-fine” is formed to improve the overall purification efficiency.

Higher than high-efficiency filter element, lower than primary filter element, suitable for medium pollution scenes .

1. Metal mesh + Fiber composite
Material: 304 stainless steel mesh + polyester fiber
Features: moderate dust holding capacity (200~400g/m²), suitable for common dust scenes. General flame retardancy, temperature resistance ≤100℃.
Application: Electronic welding, metal fine dust, etc. to prevent fine particles from clogging high-efficiency filter elements .
1. Replacement characteristics: The suction power of the equipment is weakened, the filter cotton turns yellow or black, many particles accumulate on the surface, and dust spots can be seen on the air outlet; it should be replaced regularly according to the working environment and the equipment usage cycle.
2. Installation direction: Follow the instructions during installation to ensure that the airflow direction matches the filter element structure.
3. Note:
Do not wash with water, and avoid knocking or squeezing the filter material to cause structural damage.
In high temperature environments, special models with a temperature resistance of more than 100°C must be selected.
Before installation, the residual dust in the air duct needs to be cleaned to avoid secondary pollution.
