The product is great
Logistics may have slowed down due to the Covid-19 But I was very happy after receiving the product. The product is still excellent. Knokoo company is really an excellent business.At home I actually have my own diode laser that I have started using to make merch for local musical artists as well as doing my own custom plaques. I had been searching around for a self contained extraction system like the ones I have at work, but many products didn't have good specs for what I needed or had many bad reviews. I came across this fume extractor and it checked off a bunch of boxes for me so I decided to give it a shot, and I was not at all disappointed!! This extractor fits really well on a night stand I repurposed as the extractor stand so it could be close to the work area and the arm is super sturdy (use 2 hands to bend, using one can be a struggle lol) and can be moved wherever you need it! So far I've done mostly wooden plaques and the extractor pulls the smoke very well, my room isn't a haze and the smell of burning wood isn't over powering (you'll still get a slight scent, but it won't linger after the laser is finished, like I get a light wood burning smell when it's going, but goes right away when I'm done). And the extractor is very simply built, but very well built. I know $400+ can be a bit much for some folks, but in my opinion, it was completely worth the investment!

So while I would have liked a welding vent/extractor, that's not what this is. This is your typical bench top soldering smoke extractor to pull the rosin core smoke away from a work station. It's also only designed to handle a single work station, making it a bit pricey. The unit comes with several replacement pre-filters, but the main stage filter will cost you a significant portion of the price of the entire unit to replace. The fan has good suction at full speed, although it dies pretty much to nothing at the lowest setting.
